Camera Control

It's been quite some time since my last post. I don't want to get into all the nasty details, but let me just say that I now can take my own pictures. In a word: liberating.

Me and the fam made a trip down to La Crosse for the Farmer baptism. Here are some of the pictures I captured of the event. (Before you get all critical about the quality, please keep in mind that I'm a three year old working with a digital device here.)

First, the big sister just after the big event.

Doesn't she look lovely?

Here I tried to juxtapose the emotion of Avery with that of her cousin.

Of course I needed to get one of Mommy . . .

. . . and her shirt. Isn't it nice?

After me demanding a few dozen different poses, Avery got a little frustrated with me as an artist with a camera.

Finally, I captured the man of the day.

Overall, a real nice day. Also a great day with the camera.

Happy Party to you!

Saturday morning Mom and I woke Dad up pretty early. We had lots to do. Daddy had presents to open, we had pancakes to eat, and then we were off to the zoo!

I was most excited about seeing the bears this time. Notice, I picked my bear hat and mittens out especially for this trip.

Turns out, bears sleep for up to 7 months at a time. Apparently, they are not ready to wake up yet. Daddy was feeling brave that morning.

Here we are ready to have Birthday dinner.

Then, we both made a wish....

And tried to blow out the fire.

Happy Party to you Daddy!

Happy New Year!

Were you worried that I had become so hooked on curling that I no longer had time to blog? Did you think I was training, and then competing in the Olympics?

None of that. (I have not actually curled since back in December.) Moose and I have just been hanging out. We take some walks in the snow. It's pretty fun.

I also have been spending some quality time with Dora and Boots! Grandma came to visit a week or so ago and got them for me. They're super!

Thanks, Grandma!

My new sport

Daddy and I recently learned a new sport: curling!

There were some very exciting moments and some not so exciting. Here I am waiting for my turn to brush off the ice.

Daddy was a natural out on the ice. He only fell a few times. There was some talk about a gold medal in Vancouver? I am not sure where Vancouver is.

See what I mean?

I love Daddy.

St. Nick Photo Session

The parents decided that they would try to take a picture of me in front of our newly decorated Christmas tree. They thought it would be a nice feature on a Christmas card.

Would you like to see the results?

Here's one of me and Moose.

This is the one where I thought I saw something up on the ceiling.

Here, I thought we were taking a break. I wasn't quite ready.

After this one, the parents shut down the operation.

Happy St. Nick's.

Dog Park

The dog park is my absolute favorite place to go right now.

Moose and I can run for miles and never stop. Well, he sometimes stops, but only for pictures, it seems.

Here's me making my way through the high grass.

Being with Moose at the dog park sure is fun. I love Moosey lots.

Pack Attack

Sunday. Packer game today to enjoy. As you can see, I was all ready for it. Daddy even walked me through how the indoor grill works. Overall, pretty interesting.

As for the Packer opponent, Daddy told me that we eat Cowboys for breakfast. See:

I'm just kidding. That's not a Cowboy that I was eating. It was a cracker.

Abby Cadabby, I Was

For Halloween, I dressed up as Abby Cadabby. It was magical!

As you can see, I had a special hair piece, little wings and a dress to die for.

It was so exciting. I had trouble standing still while we waited to go trick-or-treating.

Then Mommy and I got ready to go.

It was real fun. I liked the candy. I really like candy quite a lot.

Minnesota is Wild!

Mom, Dad and I went to a Wild game last week. I had never seen hockey before. I liked the popcorn. It came in this fancy funnel.

As you can see, I took eating the popcorn very seriously.

Look at this guy:

Pretty scary, huh?

It was a couple days before Halloween, so they handed out pretty masks. Unlike most everyone else I saw at the game, Daddy wore his most of the game. Mommy and I can't take him anywhere.

Visiting Nonnie and Papa

Recently, we went to visit Nonnie and Papa! It was a great vacation. Moose and I got to spend a night with just Nonnie and Papa, no Mom and Dad. We hadn't done that before. Nonnie likes to read and watch movies, just like me!

Here I am watching Thomas the train with my cousins, Michael and Monica. It was a fun surprise that they came in from out East to see Nonnie and Papa too!

Moose and I have lots of time to relax while on vacation. I had some new books to enjoy in this comfy chair and Moose got to catch up on some sleep.

Nonnie and Papa live next to a big park. Daddy and I took Moose there to play one day.

Daddy says I am Moose's Master.

Here is everyone enjoying Halloween cookies in the kitchen.

Monica, Michael and I had a chance to decorate the cookies, Nonnie toured the table so we could show off our work. She started with Monica, and seemed very impressed. You can see that Monica used the orange and black frosting very well.

Michael also did some real nice work on his cookies. He incorporated the candy bats into his design. I thought that was a real nice touch.

Mine . . . well mine, they were delicious.

I like cookies. Do you have any cookies?

Lightning Mcqueen: My Favorite Rookie Race Car

These are my new car books. I like to carry them around with me in case someone is interested in race cars, tractor tipping, etc. They are very educational.

Moose even likes them.

Division of Labor

Some days it seems that I do all of the work around here! Today was a busy day of cooking, laundry, and making phone calls.

Meanwhile, this is what Moosey did all day!

I made a ham and cheese strata while talking to Grandma.

Moose slept on the clean and folded laundry.

Then, Arthur called to see if I had read the new pigeon book. So funny, anyway...

We must have been laughing so much that we finally woke Moosey.
